On July 5th, 2025, I had the absolute joy of attending Dream Big Brunch 3 hosted by The Lady Powerhouse CIC - a Female Founders Network built for women just like myself, and let me just say, it was nothing short of amazing. This wasn’t my first time, in fact, it was my third brunch, and like clockwork, I walked away feeling inspired, empowered, and more connected than ever.

The Vibe: 10/10
I’ve been a member of The Lady Powerhouse since its early days, and I can genuinely say that my membership has played a huge role in my business journey. The support, guidance, and sisterhood I’ve found through TLP has helped me make real strides in my business, and judging from the comments that were made at DBB3, I’m not alone in that.
Every TLP event brings a certain warmth with it, and the Dream Big Brunch was no exception. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, empowered, and uplifted. It’s the kind of room where you’re not just seen - you’re celebrated. I left feeling more motivated than when I arrived, which honestly happens every single time.
This isn’t just an event I attend. It’s a non-negotiable in my calendar (literally I've rescheduled other events twice because I refuse to miss it!). I come back every year not just because of what I gain, but because of what I witness - growth. Watching the women I’ve met over the years flourish in their respective lanes is incredibly powerful. It’s a celebration of progress, purpose, and most importantly, community.

Takeaway of the Day: "Be Fascinating"
One of the standout messages that stuck with me was the encouragement to be fascinating by Mindset, Communication & Expression Coach and Speaker, Jasinta Rene. To own your story, your brilliance, and your unique impact in the world. The keynote speaker and Queen of Soft-living, Elisha Henry brought her own flavour of inspiration, and I soaked it all up!
I also loved the Community Spotlight section, where women were invited to nominate themselves (or others), and speak on the incredible things they’re doing in their businesses. It was beautiful to witness and reinforced just how much talent and ambition was in the room.

Networking without an agenda
This year’s theme was “Networking Without a Purpose,” and I absolutely loved it. So often we’re told to network with an agenda, but this space reminded us that real, meaningful connections don’t always need a motive. I had some amazing conversations with no expectations, just genuine connection. If something comes from it later, fantastic. If not, I still walked away full.
As always, the brunch pushed me to dream bigger. Being in a room full of powerful, creative, driven women who are all doing the work is a reminder that I’m not alone in this journey. I even received a few shout-outs from women I’ve worked with in the past, which filled me with joy and reminded me exactly why I do what I do.

The Lady Powerhouse isn’t just another network to me, it’s home. It represents safety, resilience, and freedom to grow without judgment. It’s where I’ve felt held during the highs, and lows of entrepreneurship.
And fun fact: I actually designed the TLP brand through my business, DBJ Studio, so this organisation? It holds a very special place in my heart.
A Sisterhood That Goes Beyond Business
TLP’s message has always been about holistic support. It’s not just about business tips or marketing tricks. It’s about creating spaces where women can show up fully as themselves, be supported, and thrive in every part of life. It’s a proper sisterhood, and that’s what makes it so powerful. Thank You TLP!
